LOVE this place, especially the patterned flooring. A very unique coffee shop!! They would do SO WELL in WATERLOO, not sure why they have not expanded!! The coffee is amazing. The staff is nice and friendly. This location is tucked away off the main road and most people do not know it exists. They do however need new chairs or reupholster them.

On my first visit, I went with a table of four at breakfast time, the place was busy and food was excellent.
The service was excellent. I would go back again. The hostess greater us at the door, we were escorted to the table and the chairs were pulled out for all the women.
Prices are great, I thought that the freshly made hollandaise sauce was an incredible touch.
The facilities were clean.
Overall the attention to detail, the plating was outstanding.
This place is a must visit.

Stopped for lunch today at Detour Cafe where we enjoyed delicious grilled cheese sandwiches and two attractively prepared cortados. Seriously, everything was done to perfection. We stopped in on Friday night to grab a coffee and decided to have a piece of cake. Although the cakes are not made there they are absolutely to die for. I got the white hot chocolate which was amazing, although you did have to stir it fairly often to keep the hot chocolate mix from settling out of it.
There is a ton of interesting art work on the walls and the music is great, I would definitely recommend this place.
